The Challenge
When Ceragon Networks launched its Private Networks business unit, they needed to move fast.

The solution architecture team required a platform that was efficient, accurate, and easy to use, enabling them to deliver private cellular designs for new global opportunities.

Itsik Angel, VP of System Integration at Ceragon has worked in wireless since 1998. He had used legacy design tools at previous companies, requiring expert-level teams to complete even simple wireless designs. That legacy approach to wireless network design came with manual work like drawing doors and walls, waiting for scenes to render, and long queues to speak with support or suggest new features. None of that was going to work for a lean team trying to launch a new global practice area.

"We did a very thorough comparison between five or six different tools, eino fit exactly what we needed."

When a new piece of equipment needed to be supported in the design platform, it was taken care of by eino. Pre-mapped and ready. "I don't need to do anything," Itsik said. "Just go and pick it from the dropdown menu."

The Solution
Ceragon selected eino as the design platform for their Private Networks practice from the start.

No migration from legacy tools. They built their new global practice using eino from day one.

The platform gave the team what legacy tools couldn't: multi-vendor, multi-technology, indoor and outdoor design in a single cloud-based workspace. Private cellular, Wi-Fi, DAS, and fixed wireless. All in one place. And no certification requirements to get started.

"You don't need to wrap it up in two tools, it ties everything in one."

The Results
When Ceragon Networks launched its Private Networks business unit, they needed to move fast.

In under one year, Ceragon's team completed 191 design projects on eino, almost 5 per week.

Every one of those projects required an RF design before the team could build a bill of materials, scope a solution, or present the solution to a customer.

"Without an RF design, I don't even know how to approach it, so I would say it affects every single one of the projects that we're working on."

The team now uses eino to quickly generate initial designs, export them into customer-facing presentations, and accelerate the pre-sales cycle. When asked if eino has helped them move opportunities faster: "100%. No doubt."
